By a canal in the city, where darkness rests, a glow leads you towards a vibrant facade. As you are drawn to the old naval base, you notice that the facade radiates in warm hues, almost as if it has its own breath.

It's been an absolute pleasure to be part of the Copenhagen Light Festival 2024. Alongside Anna Gallagher, FRANCISCA GOMEZ PALACIOS, and Daniela Stoian, we created the stunning light installation 'Breath of Light'. Seeing it light up the church during the opening was truly special, and afterward, it found a new home at the Louis Poulsen HQ.
We got the opportunity through Ungt Lys, a group of young members of The Danish Lighting Center (DCL), working across multiple disciplines, all of whom are interested in and engaged in lighting.
As part of DCL, which is a non-profit organization, Ungt Lys seeks to inform students and young professionals about the possibilities within the world of light. The group is governed by a board that arranges activities for the members of Ungt Lys.
